i wanna catch up on the latest in video editing + ai — who should i follow, what subreddit should i check, or what new apps should i try?

my workflow right now:
procreate for frame-by-frame animation, premiere for editing, after effects for motion/effects, and runway to bring images to life.

i'm especially interested in automating things like clip selection, scrapping duplicates, and cropping/composing scenes into a final video based on a storyboard or script.

There are tools like Opus these days for auto clipping a podcast for example, but the tech isn’t quite there yet for it imo. Descript has been quietly adding some great AI features in their video editing software

I’ll let you know if I think of others who are good on those fronts. I remember Brett having really thoughtful threads on the way he prompts and chains different image and video models
