Great questions submitted for the DEGEN AMA, for anyone interested: 1. Revenue (Mini App + Degen App): No revenue recognized yet. Right now we’re focused on making Degen App an exceptional Farcaster client first (new design, more features, prediction market trading coming, more in the pipeline). We’ll figure out the economics as we scale. 2. Growth: People are using the app regularly. We want faster growth too, but this is a long-term play. We expect a real inflection once the redesign + feature upgrades land. We’re not fully there yet, but we’re getting closer. Marathon, not sprint. 3. Marketing: Yes, we have marketing plans. Kicking off something exciting next week and continuing to evolve it over the coming weeks/months as part of a broader strategy. Brand + marketing revamp for Degen is coming, keep eyes peeled. 4. Long-term vision: Degen App is one product inside a bigger mission: building Degen into a premier brand. Think “Nike” (brand) and “shoes” (product). Brand comes first, products compound the brand. 5. Base / Farcaster changes: Strong relationship with Neynar, and looking forward to working even more closely with them. 6. Base vs Solana / builder support: We’re in active dialogue with Base (including Jesse) and recently got a warm response around an upcoming project.
