GM Degens, I know the recent bans didn’t sit well with everyone. We used a rule-based approach to target sybils, but it’s a tough battle, and we’re just two people. If you got caught in the crossfire, I’m sorry. There was collateral damage, but we also hit a lot of big farmers. These decisions aren’t easy, but they’re made for the community’s long-term health. If you’re feeling discouraged, I get it. Tipping was meant to be fun—sharing memes, onboarding new users—not a paycheck. If you’re using $DEGEN just to cash out every month, that’s really missing the point of tipping. The goal was always to spread it and help the community grow, not treat it as a steady income source. I know that sounds a bit blunt, but this is a meme-driven space, and we’re all here to keep things fun and viral. Your art has real value—you should be earning directly from that, not relying on $DEGEN. Just my take!

Tips are a way to help artists, I only tip to artists, and living as an artist in Latinamerica is hard, every small thing helps...Sorry for not living in Europe or North America, here we can't play with money like a funny thing, we need to pay the rent...

We made art and earned from it years before degen existed, we already know. Reclaiming what's fair after playing by the rules doesn't mean we rely on degen... i think that's where you're missing the point here, @jacek. You think this is just for fun but we actually respected it and took it seriously, and we expected that in return.
