There's this notion the American empire is ending. Not defending U.S. actions but the empire is far from over. Wealth and military superiority remain unmatched. When the U.S. broke from Britain, Britain was the most powerful empire on earth. Losing America barely slowed them down. Their greatest century followed, powered by the industrial revolution. It took 150+ more years for the empire to actually end. Massive wealth buys a lot of second chances and takes a very long time to unwind. The U.S. will likely move on from current conflicts, enter an AI-driven industrial revolution and keep going. Being rich means you get to make mistakes and recover. Same applies in crypto. The projects with real treasuries can experiment, fail, learn and try again. The ones where operators cashed out in 2024 and moved on are a different story. Degen has the runway to keep building and keep swinging. Shots on goal matter when you can afford to miss a few.
