DePIN as an industry could unlock a new and huge market (a Blue Ocean). These factors seem to be contributing to the case for DePIN:
- Lower usage costs
- Speed, especially if nodes are close to the edges
- Decentralisation, and enhanced security
- Enhanced privacy
