I will not apologize for how I learned to survive what you left behind. Healing is not pretty or polite, it is instinctive, raw, and deeply human. I did what I had to do to keep breathing, to find myself again in the wreckage you never stayed to clean up. If my healing looks different than you expected, that is because pain does not ask for permission. I chose myself in the aftermath. And that choice does not require your forgiveness. 🤦♂️
