they got 10k people, many who don’t shut up about how much they hate fc, to fund their warplet & pay $120–all within 3 hours—for an undisclosed nft & some potential benefits 

when people buy nft collections, they buy artists; they buy something that they may look to sell in the future for more than bought 

this was 50% blind support & 50% tge speculation—nothing to do with the nft or benefits (realistically doesn’t move the needle for most)

We know that they’re moving at their own pace and on a timeline that is looking 5-10 years into the future. 

At the same time it feels like the whole fc vibe is just a shell game of moving money around and virtue signaling that you donated your farming revenue back into the system. 

Not sure where I’m going with this. I want to see fc grow as a protocol, and I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want a better option to our current social options. The experiments are necessary, but the vibes are off right now. 

Maybe I’ll just lean into it and see what happens.
