I strive to be like these Canadian geese (aka jerks) looking majestic for no reason, could be peacefully grazing, could chase you like you owe them money, might hiss, might vibe, might commit a minor felony. you never know.

Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. That’s for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!

my fashionable little noodle posing on its stick bridge while basking in the sun (aka the heat bulb) outside his cave suite and a private spa (aka the water bowl)

Today, I experienced the quiet magic of receiving a postcard from a loved one. Ever since I moved abroad, my appreciation for cell phones and the internet has grown immensely but there’s a kind of closeness in knowing that someone, miles away, paused their day to sit down, choose their words, and let ink flow from pen to paper—ink that once touched their hand, now resting in mine. No text or call has ever carried such warmth. It stirred a feeling I can’t quite put into words—a tender reminder of how powerful and personal the simplest gestures can be.

btw completing one book to picking another, my brain allows for an incredibly short timespan in which if I do not find something compelling, I am relegated to 6 months of doomscrolling and if this isn’t the modern day universal human experience
