i've been off farcaster and all socials lately.
been feeling like i was slowly losing my mind, super out of focus and disconnected from the things i wanted (and needed) to be aligned with.
used to automatically grab my phone every time i had a free second.
i'd turbo-check notifications, feeds, charts, and conversations at least 10 times a day — sometimes getting stuck doomscrolling for +30 minutes.
so i tightened up my morning routine, started meditating, blocked socials from my phone for most of the day, and defined what i want to spend my free time doing (and actually doing it).
social media is one hell of a drug if you don't use it mindfully.
after a good brainrot detox, i've been noticing my inner voice is having deeper, more interesting conversations with myself now, which is helping me be more present and make better decisions.
one thing i'm especially happy about:
i'm super in tune with my music right now — creating and learning more every day, getting closer to the sound i always wanted.
who knows, maybe i'm secretly recording the greatest lo-fi soft psychedelic jizz jazz album of all time…or maybe not. 62 replies
