PSA, after hiking, do your tick checks thoroughly everyone!! The hospital informed me I have a tickborne illness now, which explains why I’ve been bedridden the past few days lol. Make sure to stay out of the sun; take it easy if you don’t know your limits. And ofc have fun :) lmk if you have other questions.

Well, first and foremost, do a tick check afterwards haha. Bring snacks, sunscreen, a light daypack to carry water. Make sure someone in the group has a small first aid kit and is trained in it. Stick to the trails and ofc trust your gut and do only what you’re comfortable with.
