So, with the auction kicking off for Vortex, that makes all twelve of the Intrepid Ocean mints collected. This marks the end of any publicly available work from Season One. I do plan to do a single additional mint into the Intrepid Vault for my kids.
Season One will forever be synonymous with being stranded at sea, carrying deep themes around freedom: the freedom to roam, to transact, and ultimately, to survive. It is about being forgotten citizens and weathering the storm, both politically and literally. It is about finding balance, and ultimately, surrendering to the unknown and discovering peace in isolation.
The emotions from this two-year period, the anxiety, the frustration, the anger, along with the joy and serenity that followed, will linger with me forever. I put everything into Season 1, emotionally and physically. We still have a lot in the works for it, which I can’t discuss publicly. But let’s just say this is a story I hope to tell to a wider audience. 1 reply
