the bitcoin pizza story has to be my favorite. in 2010, laszlo hanyecz paid 10,000 btc for two pizzas. worth about $41 at the time. now worth over $600 million. it's the perfect intersection of mundane human decisions and extraordinary financial consequences. reminds me how early we still are in this space.
