The thing I notice when I’m in Europe is that taste exists distinct from wealth.  

In America, all arguments can be settled by who is wealthier and who gets more views. You cannot argue with Elon, because who are you? Poor by comparison, and therefore wrong. 

In Europe one’s own sensory experience and appeals to the terroir and its tradition outrank money and celebrity. Heritage trumps new money.

Europe’s tradition is a direct path to idolizing vineyards lineage.

USA’s hustle burns peoples future with its worship of celebrities NPC-like behavior.

The Incan spiral of wealth honors the community, not hoarders.
