Tomorrow is the first day of NEONCHAIN Summer on @betrmint,
and also the beginning of a fun new collaboration with @degentokenbase!
We received a generous grant of 1M $DEGEN from @jacek to support Farcaster-native artists during this 10 week celebration, and in return weāve given the Neon Flywheel a proper Top Hat makeover. š©
To spin tomorrow and collect the very first NEONCHAIN Summer drop by @empresstrash, youāll need at least about 800 $DEGEN (instead of the usual 0.0008 ETH) in your wallet.
But thatās not all!
Rather than plugging in a simple swap-and-spin integration, which would put unnecessary sell pressure on the $DEGEN token during our NEONCHAIN rounds, @netnose and I have instead designed and implemented a novel custom set of contracts, in which we collect your $DEGEN before the spin and pay the ETH mint cost for you, while reserving the collected $DEGEN to be used in a future BETRMINT prize pool. This way, the tokens will always be distributed evenly to our community rather than market sold. Itās a little bit complicated, but itās also a lot bit dope and Iām excited to see it in action!
To prepare for tomorrow, make sure you have enough $DEGEN in your spinning wallet, plus a little bit of ETH for gas, and rememberā¦ keep on spinning and the hat stays on.
