there’s no place for entitlement as a founder. hard work doesn’t entitle you to commercial success or funding - it’s one (important) variable of many.

losing a company is hard, emotional, painful but it’s not the toughest moment I’ve had so far in nearly 2 decades of doing this - and no doubt there’ll be many more trials ahead. you just keep going. you keep obsessing over products you believe will change things in the way you’re desperate to see them changed.

risk is part of it, always. however it looks (especially in crypto), you don’t just get handed funding or reach pmf without repeatedly and relentlessly putting yourself on the line. and the personal risk doesn’t stop when you reach those early targets - that’s when the real work starts.
