Jimmy Patronis, CFO of the Florida Administrative Council, sent a letter to the management asking them to provide a document on the possibility of investing the state's pension funds in bitcoin. According to him, Florida's economy is now experiencing rapid growth, including the development of cryptocurrency startups and blockchain companies. The official pointed out that bitcoin is not controlled by any state structure and has great potential as an investment tool.
