Finished up You S5.

For me, this series peaked at S3. S4 was good, but you could tell they were reaching. For S5, they had to rely on multiple plot twists per episode instead of originality. 

If I had to put my finger on it, I'd say the main reason this show didn't need to go on so long is because Joe doesn't change. You don't need 5 seasons of Joe doing the same thing again and again.

All through the seasons, I was just interested in who his new victim would be. Yeah, the season with Love was the peak. I was so happy he met his match 😂

A creator. Onchain & offchain. Based. 💙

I was very satisfied because they let almost all the victims get some closure. 

Then ending the season with him getting fan mails in prison was interesting for me because I expect that kind of ending from Nigerian movies where they try to dictate a takeaway for the viewers when there are many other learning points. The last scene wasn't the best ending, but it wasn't completely bad.

Were you happy with how it ended?

I wonder how many endings the writers considered. Like, surely a fiery death was on the table at some point.

Rotting in prison but still getting love mail (or whatever you call it) was an odd choice.
