Today we announce the full transition to community governance. The project now belongs to the people who build, use, and contribute.

DAOs are onchain systems that let communities own and govern projects. The IDRISS DAO runs on an efficient optimistic voting framework. Proposals are assumed to pass unless vetoed by the community.

Here is how it works: → Any community member can propose → A council of early contributors champions proposals → Votes default to "yes" unless explicitly vetoed

Why optimistic governance? Because in fast-moving systems, defaulting to action is better than defaulting to indecision. The community has veto power. But we trust contributors to move forward, unless there's a clear reason not to.
