One of the positive aspects of Moxie is that it could discourage negative interactions and conflict (Who wants to interact with someone they dislike to give them Moxie?) while encouraging people to reward positive content by interacting with it and encouraging more to be created and ongoing relationships to be built. If done right this could create a virtuous cycle.

It's also likely that people engage with someone they don’t like just because that person is a "moxie god" who might like their comments and give them moxies. This makes it difficult to distinguish genuine fans and leaves you skeptical of all engagements.

Sorry this was my mistake, I meant to say that the distribution channels for Moxie need to be expanded so that it is not so dependent on a few major accounts.

They could start channeling it more based on verified usage or give people a chance to increase their reputation score more easily etc.

Let me give you an example:

A communist sympathizer on Warpcast doesn’t like @dwr.eth for his support of the free market economy but comments positively under his posts, hoping to get a like or reply worth 4000 moxies. Meanwhile he continues to post his true opinions on Twitter.

Dan being aware of this tactic, becomes skeptical of all interactions from people he doesn’t know personally. As a result he might overlook a fellow entrepreneur who genuinely appreciates his work and is trying to build a relationship, interpreting that as moxie-farming.

This scenario could apply to any big account on Farcaster like @betashop.eth, @cameron or @macedo. *Tagging in case they’re interested in this discussion.
