US, EU, UK, Canada, and others have sanctioned Chinese officials and entities linked to Uyghur abuses, such as travel bans, asset freezes, and restrictions on specific goods like cotton and solar products tied to forced labor. That being said, no country has stopped trading with China due to this. USA is facilitating a genocide in Gaza.... I'm not saying what they have been doing gets a pass, I'm just saying that it has not been deemed to be severe enough to illicit much meaningful response from the international community. You think that Canada and China lifting some tariffs is going to be the end of the world here? What exactly do you think should be happening in response to this issue?
