This morning I'm getting an infusion like I do every other week. I'm grateful for free Canadian healthcare and the fact that I can get a nurse to come to my house and administer it. 🙏

every other week ? no port ? i felt like i was in the matrix when i had one they just hooked into me whenever 🤣🤪 GL HF!

Port is last resort for me. I don't want one.

yeah i had one last time i got my intestines resectioned temporarily cuz i had follow up injections for a couple months after and might have one next time idk i prob have to do one again in the future

Definitely ideal to have it done at home. The first 6 months or so I went to an infusion center.

You've had your port removed?

i can see why especially if it's just a thing every other week cuz it would be a waste 99% or the time. but if you ever have to go to the hospital for stuff and they offer one it made everything so much better not getting poked every couple hours for tests or medicine etc especially in the middle of the just tmi anyway just sharing my port experience 🤪  that's nice that they come out to the house, it's so much more comfortable (imo)
