Ceres-1 exploded for a 2nd time over the past 4 years, with 20 successful missions. The two explosions are 2 year apart, the first in 2023 and the second in this late 2025. That is 9% failure rate. Is that high in engineering in general, and in rocker launching business?

This article may be just one data point, but seems to indicate that the global average may be around 5% failure rate for a while now: https://www.seradata.com/annual-launch-failure-rate-for-2024-remains-low-despite-kairos-and-jilian-1-failures-in-december/
