How does the practice of "chaos engineering" look like in non-software projects? I wonder if there are typical chaos-like tests done across engineering disciplines? Like "what happens if I remove this screw, or cut this rope", etc.

Apologies if it is not in the spirit of the channel. I do find chaos engineering to be loved by engineers, in general. Such a motivating exercise.
