(Really) doing something is really difficult. Then how come anyone can achieve anything? That looks so daunting. Optimism comes along in the thread. But to me the key is sorcery. When everyone tells you something is too difficult, impossible, waste of time, let the spell of your self drive you. Optimism comes on top.

Doing anything matters if that’s basically what you want to do. Of course for it to spread, it must resonate with others. So there are these oscillations and trade offs between internal spell and external elements. They must be taken into account-fit. Optimism helps fuel the mechanism.
