Bitcoin hits ATH above $118K: What’s driving the surge and what comes next?
💵 Bitcoin’s rally is largely fueled by record ETF inflows, including $1.18B on Thursday, the largest since Nov 2024. Total inflows now top $51B, with BTC accounting for 83% of it.
📈 As well as many major tokens, Ethereum followed the direction with an ~8% gain, climbing above $3K for the first time since February.
🔻 This surge triggered the largest wave of short liquidations in 2025: $1.13B in shorts were liquidated, affecting 237,000+ traders who bet against the rally.
🇺🇸 Next week, all eyes are on the U.S. “Crypto Week,” where CLARITY and GENIUS Acts will be reviewed. With the DXY at a 3-year low, favorable outcomes could further extend BTC momentum.

Arbitrum is leveling up with two major upgrades improving UX and MEV handling
Timeboost (Apr 18) introduced market-based priority system that curbs MEV bots, cuts congestion, and generates revenue for Arbitrum.
Pectra (Jun 18) brings smart account features, transaction batching, and alternative gas payment options to lower costs and simplify interactions.
Together, they enhance architecture, usability, transaction ordering, and MEV management, reshaping the way Arbitrum works.
🗓 Join us Monday at the Pectra AMA to discuss what it means for developers, users, and the future of L2s:
