Consistency in Web3 almost broke me but Here is why I never quit! 🙂‍↔️

I won’t lie to you. Some days, I woke up and wanted to vanish.

I just wanted to close the tabs, ignore the pings, disappear from Discord, Telegram and everything.

Because Web3? It’s not easy.

Especially when you are:

→ Living in Nigeria, battling light and network issues
→ Trying to support your family
→ Studying, working, loving someone and still expected to show up like a robot online.

But I stayed and somehow, I’m still here. Still showing up, still pushing and still building. 🙂‍↔️

Battling real Life and Web3

I’ve got a family I love, a partner I care about, a body and mind I’m trying to protect and still! I’ve managed to:

 → Build my Web3 career,
 → Show up as a Community Manager, KOL manager and researcher
 → Still laugh, cry, cook, love and live.

The secret? Boundaries, grace and rest!

I shut down when I need to. I turn off Telegram notifications, I take walks, I eat lunch with people I love  because burning out doesn’t make you a legend; it makes you a lesson!

Nobody Prepares You For the Rough Ride!

They don’t tell you what it’s like:

→ Juggling Zoom calls during blackouts.
→ Missing out on IRL memories because of a deadline.
→ Feeling guilty for resting because “everyone else is grinding.”
→ The shame of comparing your journey to a 15 year old dev raising seed rounds while you’re sweating through NEPA cuts.

Web3 is fast, global, 24/7 and that can eat you alive if you let it!

The hard truth that might hurt is that motivation is not reliable. You won’t always feel like showing up. I mean, I didn’t!

There were nights I cried out of frustration not because I wasn’t good enough, but because I was doing everything right and it still felt like I was invisible.

But guess what? I kept showing up! Not because I had energy but because I had a strong why.

“I personally didn’t come into this space just to scroll. I came to learn, to build and to win not just for myself, but for my community, family and everyone watching me.”

Back in 2020, I jumped into Web3 with zero perfect roadmap  just raw curiosity, untamed hunger and a fire in my gut. 

There were no guarantees, no perfect guide,  just grit!

Since then? I’ve earned my stripes! 

I have worked with iconic teams like Zuri, Web3Ladies, Polygon, Mara, VCD Studio, Lu Team and now I’m at BABs managing thriving communities, diving deep into full time research and KOL management. Oh and yeah! I’m a @base(d) chad, too. 🙂‍↔️

But behind those achievements are the silent battles you don’t see. The sleepless nights and moments where quitting felt easier than showing up.

This space chews you up if you’re not rooted in something real but if you’ve got heart? You’ll outlast trends,  find your tribe and build something that matters.
