It is with profound sadness that I share this news: We are shutting down the weekend.
Our team set out to build a fun, irreverent break from the daily grind that encouraged each and every one of us to sleep in, mow lawns, and attend alcohol-free pre-teen birthday parties.
None of this would have been possible without the generous community here on FC (you know who you are) who supported us
and used the weekend to get shit done.
What does this mean for you? Starting tomorrow you will have to go back to work.
But, we haven’t stopped building. Our team is going to open source the weekend so if someone wants to bring it back in, say, 5 days you can pick up where we left off.
Yes, that means your lawn will still only be half mowed from last time. So grab a cold one and a get your farmer’s tan on.
The weekend is dead, long live the weekend.
