My mom is moving and since it will disrupt her rituals anyway, I have the opportunity to set up her network, computer, password manager, etc in a so that it’s way easier for me to manage and troubleshoot. Has anyone gone through this? Any advice or tips?

And there it is, CarPlay on the OEM radio/screen. I’ve been hesitating doing this for a while because it seemed like a lot of work. Turned out to be pretty painless.

Bought a kit to upgrade my 10 year old car to have CarPlay/Android Auto. Software update was a success, going to swap the hardware later today.
