Had a stair summit on site today. Me, the GC, the site super, the GCs structural engineer and part owner of the company, and the stair fabricator. The purpose of the meeting was to explain to me why my stair design was silly, overly complicated, and totally unnecessary. All of that was true, mind you, but so was the meeting.
