Curated validator set of 20-50 participants. You need minimum stake AND operational approval to join

Two-tier key system keeps things secure during zone rotations:

🔥Global keys: identity, staking, governance (kept offline)
🔥Zone keys: consensus participation (rotated as validators move)

Multi-local consensus is where it gets interesting. Validators co-locate in geographical zones for ultra-low latency, then rotate zones each epoch

When validators sit in the same zone, block times drop below 100ms. Like HFT shops following the sun around the globe

Rotation happens for 3 reasons:

1️⃣ Regulatory decentralization (avoid single jurisdiction control)
2️⃣ Infrastructure resilience (regional outages can't kill network)
