1/9 Ethereum has scaling problems. @monad_xyz doesn’t fix Ethereum - it rebuilds it for speed. Fully EVM-compatible, 10k+ TPS, 1s finality, and dozens of projects already live on testnet. How do you make Ethereum apps actually scale?🧵 https://t.co/MX1JZ59GEK 2/9 Monad is a Layer 1 that feels like Ethereum, but faster. Same contracts, same tools (ethers.js, Hardhat, etc), but with a redesigned setup: parallel execution, faster consensus, and storage that mostly runs off SSDs.

3/9 Its execution model is built for speed. Transactions run in parallel, saved in order, and re-checked for correctness. No sharding, no strange limits. Just simple, fast processing. 4/9 Consensus is also tuned for speed. Monad uses a version of HotStuff (PoS), made to hit 1s block times and instant finality. No chain rewinds. No drama.

5/9 Storage runs on MonadDB, a setup that keeps most data on SSD instead of RAM. This makes nodes cheaper and easier to run, uses less memory, and supports decentralization. 6/9 The team has deep engineering experience. Keone Hon worked at Jump Trading. James Hunsaker built large-scale futures systems. Eunice Giarta came from Broadway and BofA. They know how to build real systems. 7/9 The ecosystem is growing.

Over 80 projects are building on Monad (devnet). From memecoins to staking and wallets, teams like @flapdotsh, @FolksFinance, @fufuture_io, @garden_finance, @phantom and @LayerZero_Core 8/9 Still early and open. Monad is currently in testnet, and they’re running an airdrop. You can claim MON from testnet faucets, try apps like Curvance, Magma, https://t.co/hZ7TsnW8Qq, and earn community roles through contributions. Every action matters - yes, even memes.
