Decentralized means lawless in the best sense: No one gets to decide who is allowed to participate and who isn’t. A truly decentralized ZK proof-of-personhood should only prove one thing: ‘You are a unique human being’ period. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hacker, a criminal, from a sanctioned country, from the darknet, or literally anyone who breathes. As long as you’re one unique human, you’re in. The moment you build that system, every government on Earth will declare it illegal and sanction it and that’s exactly how you know it’s actually decentralized. The real ZK system is the one I just described, not the scam versions these projects are pushing that are now putting the entire idea of decentralization into question.
