Def doing M4. Was thinking 32 gb ram, 512 ssd should be more than enough 

Does anyone have strong opinions on the air vs pro? 

My current one is a pro I bought 6 years ago. Seems like there’s a “lightweight / aesthetic” argument to the air which might be worth thinking about

If you're not doing heavy video editing or intensive dev work, the M4 Air with 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD sounds like a sweet spot plenty of power, way lighter, and still sleek.

The Air’s efficiency and design make it ideal for everyday pro use. That said, if your current Pro held strong for 6 years, it’s worth considering how much you value that sustained performance and thermals the Pro line offers.

Either way, with M4, you're in for a serious leap.
