Do you know “Beigoma”? Beigoma is Japanese babylon shell spinning top. In the past, they were made of seashells, but over time metal ones became more common, and nowadays there are also plastic ones. Winding the string requires a bit of technique, which is also depicted in the manga "KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops". It was difficult to turn Beigoma until you got used to it, and today I raised my voice with joy the moment I turned it😆

I frequently play it with kids in the park, as well as teaching smaller kids how to spin the usual wooden コマ and do simple tricks like 空中手乗せ. And yeah the battles can get quite heated sometimes :)
