High-risk project alert: @farlegacy just launched a token $SHARD , and the dev quickly sold after launch, cashing out over $30K.

They seem like a very experienced team, building a card miniapp around Base memecoins, driving viral growth through referral link sharing, and previously attempting to sell NFTs. Now they’ve issued a token to pull people in and then quickly rug. 

Looking closely, the scam was obvious from the start. Always stay alert in crypto!

have said it before but the social layer needs to police this and build immunity against this behavior. Farcaster cannot simply "ban scammers"

true, still no way to correlate the past and present

takes a lot of data ingesting. because, how do you know what people did before? what they do now? sometimes there's serial grifting and sometimes things just smell off

haven't see any social aggregator that's on the right trajectory, i mean look at ethos, failed from the getgo, grifters get trusted reputation almost instantly, i hope rolodex is doing something different

so far i've relied mostly on my guts and spent time on web3

i have some ideas for this but can't fit them into the margin of this app

can we downvote mini apps?
it doesn't help the social layer when the algo makes them trending

trust and reputation (not a fan but sometimes helps), sadly farcaster reputation system is based in having a X account instead on idk, years here without scam people 

question, how a new account of no where can conquer the feed so easy

farcaster cannot ban but farcaster controls the algo, not saying that is farcaster fault, but something can be done, not just say, no my prob
