Common grammar error 1. John is a matured politician. ✖️ John is a mature politician. ✔️ Use mature (no "d") before a noun when referring to a person. Matured is best saved for non-living things. Examples: My plant has matured. ✔️ Not my husband has matured. ✖️ 2. Am coming now. ✖️ I am coming now. ✔️ "Am" is not a complete sentence. You need the subject. Don’t leave it out, please. 3. Loose vs Lose I don’t want to loose this opportunity. ✖️ I don’t want to lose this opportunity. ✔️ "Loose" means not tight. "Lose" means to not win or to misplace. Sister Ireti says she wants to loose weight, and it sounds like her fat is tied with rope and she is trying to untie it. 😭 Don't be like Sister Ireti, please. 😂 .
