In the bull runs, people chase convenience. But fundamentals don’t disappear.

Custodial wallets (like exchanges or Web2 fintechs) are tempting. They’re fast, sleek, and familiar. But they hold your private keys — not you.

When you use self-custody (like MetaMask, Rainbow, or hardware wallets), you control your assets. You also take full responsibility — that’s the trade-off.

Many forget this until it's too late (RIP Mt. Gox, FTX, Celsius…).

So ask yourself: Are you in crypto to rely on others? Or to own your financial future?
