I began thinking about who might naturally feel connected to Farcaster. To me, it feels like a space for curious, urban professionals, builders, developers, and creatives. People who care about ideas, community, and collaboration. And not just online, but offline too, in casual environments like coworking spaces or informal meetups. That's what guided me toward the image I ultimately chose. Admittedly, it might seem a bit polished to some. I realize Farcaster likely attracts a wider variety of people with different tastes or approaches. Still, this image reflects something of the warm, social atmosphere I associate with the platform. Finally, I added three words that came to mind when thinking about Farcaster: Connect. Build. Share. Not intended as a slogan, just 3 core words that resonate with me. This isn't about getting it right. It's just my interpretation. Maybe it'll give someone else a small reason to try something similar. Everyone brings their own perspective to a platform like this, and that's exactly what makes it interesting.

Unlocking My Pro Banner: From Concept to Creation I recently subscribed to Farcaster Pro and immediately started experimenting with the new banner feature. I first explored digital visuals like gradients and tech icons, but eventually let a meaningful photo lead the design. To tie it all together, I added three words: Connect. Build. Share. Hereโ€™s why ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

Focusing on growth first is the right call. That said, a thought on the journey to a decentralized future: the foundation for that future is developer trust. Right now, simple predictability is more important than immediate further decentralization. A public policy for API changes, like a 6-month notice, builds that essential trust. Even centralized giants like AWS understand this playbook: win developer confidence with stable rules, and a valuable ecosystem will follow. That trust is the bedrock on which a truly decentralized network can be built.

Seeing your tweets on X with those Farcaster mentions brought me back to the platform after kind of forgetting about it. Then I discovered the Mini-Apps, Farcade, and Wallet integration, now I'm not going anywhere. Just shows how staying active on X can bring people to Farcaster.

Iโ€™d choose User A and release each tranche at a random time within a tight window using a blockhash or other on-chain value, so nobody knows exactly when theyโ€™ll be able to sell and even User B will hold off and engage instead of dumping right away.

Built a Farcaster spam label checker that's faster for finding results from the warpcast/labels spam.jsonl file. Just enter an FID to check status. Good starting point for devs who want to build on it or use it locally. https://github.com/bernie-developer/farcaster-spam-checker

Farville seed selection isn't working in mini-apps on desktop browser since switching to Farcaster. Mobile works fine though, anyone else seeing this?

Glad Farcaster wants to stay spam-free, but I disagree with the ChatGPT advice in "The Unwritten Rules of Warpcast: Avoiding Spam Labels". As a Dutch ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ speaker who's good at Spanish and understands English perfectly, I can speak English well but writing flawless text is something else. In Dutch, I'd never accept sloppy writing because that's how I was taught in school. I want my English to sound as good as possible. I use LLMs as editing tools when writing in another language. I rarely see Dutch on Farcaster. Most top casts, accounts, and conversations happen in English ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. Being able to participate without language limitations opens up new possibilities and insights. If you can't participate or only read, you become less engaged. You're also more likely to get ignored when your text has errors. I get that ChatGPT-style English stands out, but when someone genuinely wants to communicate well with native speakers, that comes from good intentions. Treating that as spam behavior feels unfair.

You can feel the mix of creativity, intelligence, and technical insight among the builders and team. This really could become something unique. ๐Ÿ’ก Iโ€™m a web developer with a creative and design background, deeply interested in blockchain, AI, and app experiences. Now that Iโ€™ve explored a bit, Iโ€™ll start experimenting and see how I can contribute. 2/2

May was my month of diving into Farcaster! Hereโ€™s what stood out after some hands-on exploring ๐Ÿ‘‡ /farcaster /miniapps /base /solana /farcade Farcaster brings together social networking, mini apps, Web3, and a wallet in one place. Thatโ€™s a rare and powerful mix. ๐ŸŽฎ Farcade is my current favorite. Itโ€™s well-built, engaging, and clearly a level above. ๐Ÿ“ฑOther mini apps Iโ€™ve enjoyed: Farville, Warpslot, $Eggs, BetSwirl. If more apps reach this level, Farcasterโ€™s growth will only accelerate. ๐Ÿ“ˆ ๐Ÿงญ Iโ€™m still figuring out casting and how Channels work. Onboarding could be a bit clearer, especially for new users. That said, the Base community feels aligned and intentional in its approach to wallets, apps, games, and social features. ๐Ÿง  The addition of Solana shows long-term thinking and a willingness to go beyond single-chain focus. 1/2

Seriously blown away by how smooth, fast, and cheap it is to bridge ETH on Base to SOL via Farcaster . This is a game changer, folks! Highly recommend checking it out. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘
