Glad Farcaster wants to stay spam-free, but I disagree with the ChatGPT advice in "The Unwritten Rules of Warpcast: Avoiding Spam Labels". As a Dutch π³π± speaker who's good at Spanish and understands English perfectly, I can speak English well but writing flawless text is something else. In Dutch, I'd never accept sloppy writing because that's how I was taught in school. I want my English to sound as good as possible. I use LLMs as editing tools when writing in another language. I rarely see Dutch on Farcaster. Most top casts, accounts, and conversations happen in English πΊπΈ. Being able to participate without language limitations opens up new possibilities and insights. If you can't participate or only read, you become less engaged. You're also more likely to get ignored when your text has errors. I get that ChatGPT-style English stands out, but when someone genuinely wants to communicate well with native speakers, that comes from good intentions. Treating that as spam behavior feels unfair.
