This!!! Yallllll have the fires that burned down Altadena, or the floods that killed babies on the Fourth of July, or the hurricane that ripped open western NC taught you NOTHING OF EXCESS For every yin there is a yang. Can someone explain how this new change isnβt SLOP (ie just to increase the value of the underlying currency)

Money corrupts. Everyone is here for generational wealth or at least the hope for it.

Money does corrupt, but it also is how our world currently runs. So I get it - but this is lazy to me. Do we need to commodify everything in order to prove its value? Idts. As someone who has generational wealth I am a HUGE hypocrite but whatever

You are allowed to have genny wealth and still have an opinion. π€·ββοΈ Money is the motivator of this platform. So most people on here will not disagree with their potential source of "future wealth". I agree that the commodification of everything is terrible. Until there is a viable alternative to money being the answer, this is what we deal with. You can use your genny wealth to push alternative narratives, view it as a potential tool for change and not a reason to feel like your opinion is any less valid. How do we move from a place that relies on money, to a place that relies on each other?
