What do you guys think about the latest mini app ranking algo?

It seems fluctuating a lot depending on time of viewing.

One of our mini apps ranked 70 before the big change, now it's in the range of 200. Another was not on the leaderboard now it's in the range of 150.

is there any visibility upon this? like how ranking algo were calculated? and how the score on each miniapp were calculated? would love to see and put an analytic on my own mini app

shipped a new version of the top mini apps algo

- momentum: mini apps that are growing hourly / daily / weekly will get boosted, this gives new apps a better shot of climbing up the leaderboard
- dynamic: momentum also makes this algo much more sensitive to changing trends, expect to see more variability based on what's hot
- open: the previous algo was tied to rewards, this has the negative impact of apps being missing for reasons like being in a jurisdiction we aren't able to pay rewards to, now all apps get scored

the momentum is very tricky. its basically catch the user visit and maintaining  user on screen

I think its finally time for focus on the product more for me
