Interesting (and probably more or less meaningless) to see Trump in a purple tie today

He’ll almost always wear a red tie (signifying power) or sometimes blue (symbolizing confidence). Purple has  traditionally been a color of wealth + royalty, psychologically it’s a tie color for “mixed emotions” (you’ll pretty much always see the Fed Chair Powell in a purple tie, other political leaders will often wear purple when under fire)

No idea if it’s related to his absence this weekend, a political choice by a stylist, or if he simply grabbed a purple tie he liked

Good call. On one hand he probably does what he wants on the other he has people making decisions for him 24/7. So if it's the latter that's very interesting.
