So many AI tools to create new apps... When is the last time you explored new websites/apps outside of your core rotation? πŸ˜‚ What's actually happening to all these new sites/apps generated?

I love seeing people's desire for NFTs in the thread... Are there reasons people want the NFT outside of status? πŸ‘€

Love this idea. I'm sure someone else mentioned in the thread but would be good to stake the funds and the accrued value is locked/conditional based on the task (else donated to the those who kept them accountable!)

Fully agree with the problem you outlined - no place to showcase or "use" the NFTs. I wonder if lack of usage is due to lack of gamification built around the NFTs and more around the **points**. Really think introduction of other gaming primitives like levels, skill tree, XP, and more will help.

πŸ’― I've been exploring a different hypothesis for onboarding people into crypto: Exponential consumer adoptions once critical mass of companies start paying their employees via stablecoins. The infrastructure is (nearly) here to support people getting paid onchain. Banks are looking to store USDC for customers. Stripe and other fintech companies are opening up cheaper payment rails via crypto. it'll make more sense for consumers to transact with their usdc that they earned. I think at this inflection point is where we'll see broader consumer adoptionπŸš€

Spent some time researching the creator economy when looking into SocialFi for a prev company. 100% agree with your points on Creators' order of operations (create > grow > monetize) and SocialFi to focus more on distribution. I don't blame existing dApps to focus on monetizations first, though. Distribution is solved incredibly well with existing social media apps (e.g. TikTok, IG, Youtube). The primary differentiator for dApps from social apps is the ability to monetize directly instead of via middle man. From Warpcast POV, I think they've executed pretty well on differentiating. Now it's about finding the right balance between innovation and growth.

Consumer AI is evolving rapidly... I was exploring Perplexity and came across its shopping feature. To test it out, I made a purchase using the following query: "i want to buy a small smiski or similar figurines for less than $15" Much like the Amazon Prime experience, I had an order on the way in 3 clicks (thanks to the Pro subscription). As Consumer AI continues to proliferate, I'm excited to see how e-commerce and consumer behavior evolves. Wish me luck on a getting a good Smiski 🀞

I worked in web3 gaming for a bit πŸ™‚ The challenge with assets in NFTs is that its really hard to make interoperable. Balancing game economies is already hard enough - balancing a global supply with no control is hard for many games. With no operability, its just a very expensive game asset with high overhead πŸ˜”

NFTs are the most underrated tech in crypto imo. The overfinancialization of NFTs stalled its innovation. Tokens-as-an-index is a (over)simplified explanation of how to look at it. I see future of NFTs as qualitative force to blockchains. Focus has currently been on the network improvements - next stages of innovation will include NFTs enriching wallets and accounts with attributes and depth - enabling more personalized experiences.

Real web3 adoption will happen once we hit a critical mass of people being paid in stablecoins. This is true onboarding at scale.

gm! as a (returning) new user, I'd love if there is more prominence to Channels. I think Channels are a great way to get exposed to other users and communities while growing my own account (vs. following individuals). My user desires are: - Ways to have broader reach with my casts - Connect and discuss topics with others without following them. - See more content with those that engage on my feed.

There has been 25+ network launches in the past year. As a long-time web3 user, this seems unsustainable for the common consumer. Navigating one chain is difficult enough... What is the vision for the next iteration of web3?
