I have early adopted every single Snapchat hardware product. And you know what? It was kind of not worth it. Specs were worth it, but the Meta glasses are way better. You guys gotta chill on the design feedback though lol This is the first ever true XR device I would say. It’s everything the Magic Leap wanted to be

It’s a full digital overlay over the world you can move freely with, self contained with no cables or battery pack yeah I said this same thing on Twitter and the magic leap ceo came for my mf throat and claimed they had product lol oops

well thats awesome. i worked in vr/xr for years back in the day (dk1 to hololens and ended around magic leap) and sort of agree, but i wouldnt necessarily give them the Gold Star for finally doing it. mostly because i dont give a shit about snapchat tho and not that i dont find the tech moderately impressive :) definitely more of a ux vs impl thing for me - is no cable/computer/battery good? sure, but does it actually work better / do more than a wired AVP? nah (mind u i also returned my AVP in two weeks)
