This is the National Museum of Qatar located in Doha, Qatar. The building was designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, and its architecture is inspired by the desert rose — a naturally occurring crystal formation found in the Gulf region.

The interlocking disc shapes you see in the photo are meant to resemble the petals of the desert rose, creating a futuristic yet organic form that blends tradition with innovation. The museum houses exhibits on Qatar’s history, culture, and future aspirations.

It’s one of the most iconic examples of modern architecture in the Middle East.
