I was about 6 years old and training karate when the first ufc happened.  Royce Gracie won the tournament with three submissions and he was fighting off his back, this was unbelievable at the time.  It wasn’t until I turned 18 that I finally had the opportunity to begin training jiu jitsu.  Haven’t stopped since.  It keeps me humble.  And it’s so much fun to learn new techniques or variations.
