Based on personal experience, without some wallet-related features, Farcaster could probably run on $1k–$2k/month at the current scale.
Recaster has been running for years and costs around $20/month right now, mostly because Neynar already handles most of the backend infrastructure.

I have to say @jtgi left an invaluable asset for the community.
I forked the code and made a few modifications, it now works perfectly for future channel member moderation!
I'm going to create a frame, so hopefully, everyone can auto-invite members from Day 1 based on rules you set.

Introducing a small project I recently built: https://newcaster.org, the fastest way to create a Farcaster account.
it offers two features right now:
- Register with Crypto: Pay Base ETH to create a Farcaster account using locally generated recovery phrase, powered by @neynar. (Share your referral link to earn $NEWCASTER tokens when others sign up.)
- Free Warpcast Invites: Farcaster users with @openrank under 2000 can claim a free invite. (50 invites available in the first week, with more coming soon.)
The project is funded by $NEWCASTER LP fees (a meme token I launched last week).
