No but really, to zoom out on happiness: I think it's something that's constantly evolving along with you, yet steadfast at its center and that center is presence and the now. I also think we find new/better definitions and experiences of happiness as we get older and, hopefully, wiser. WHAT QUALITY DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST IN A MAN? I prefer not to get caught up in the gender binary. But also, language is language and it thankfully evolves. For the historically accepted term “man,” I most appreciate men who: cry; don’t need to be men w a capital M; understand the importance of, and seek out, platonic male love; don’t need “women” to validate their existence; find the gender binary rather boring. WHAT QUALITY DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST IN A WOMAN? Same goes here for the binary, so… I’ll just say what I want for humans, regardless of their assigned gender at birth—liberation from the constraints, harms, norms, and stories laid upon us all by history and by those in power who aim to continue that history. WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST VIRTUE? I question everything, including whether virtues and defects are actually different things, which is either wisdom or overthinking, depending on who you ask.
