Any strong arguments 721 vs. 1155 for the Farcaster Pro NFT? It’s 10,000 of the same NFT. So naturally 1155 makes sense, but seems like people prefer 721.

Latest on Farcaster Pro 1. Launches tomorrow Tuesday May 27 after 1pm Pacific. In-app notification. 2. First 10,000 subscribers will receive an NFT at a later date. It's the same NFT for everyone. One subscription per FID. You must use the Farcaster mobile app to subscribe. USDC or warps—one or the other, no combinations. 3. There are no other benefits to the NFT; it's a benefit of Farcaster Pro. If you end up buying an NFT on the secondary market, there's no secret benefit. 4. If you have any hesitations about Farcaster Pro — $120 annually, only Day 1 feature is a badge and NFT—then *do not* subscribe. There are no refunds. We'd like to add 10K character casts and up to 4 images in the near future, but you should only subscribe tomorrow if you're excited about it. 5. It's one price globally. The goal here is to maximize revenue for the protocol—and 100% of revenue will go to creator and developer rewards. 6. It's optional. No benefit to reach, visibility or rewards. You don't have to subscribe.

I'm excited about the Ethereum network continuing to grow and becoming the backbone of the world financial system. I'm excited about ETH as an asset growing to be worth tens of trillions of dollars and considered a non-sovereign store of value. Bullish Ethereum; bullish ETH!

2 years from now, for most consumer experiences that use crypto, the underlying chain will be invisible. Exception will be if the target consumers own the underlying asset of the chain and are thus incentivized to hype an app because of a chain. For regular people, they will just care if the app is fun / interesting.

Sipping my coffee while browsing Susan Kare prints for the new space. Susan Kare designed the early Mac icons with no background in pixel art. She sketched them on cheap graphic paper from a university art store in Palo Alto. She was inspired by the crafts knowledge her mother had taught her at a young age: needlepoint, knitting, mosaics. She is also a coffee enthusiast. She designed the coffee shop in the lobby of Pinterest HQ in San Francisco, which was called The Point. It used to be open to the public. Unfortunately it’s now closed.

Why are you constantly trying new things? Changing things? We’re trying to make this whole thing work. It’s still unclear. Only way forward is through action.

We’re planning to launch a new, optional “Pro” protocol subscription 1. At launch, subscribers will have a Pro badge on their profile 2. Subscription will be onchain and part of the protocol. 100% of the proceeds go to casters / developers in weekly rewards. This in addition to the existing $25K+ a week in rewards. 3. Planning to add longer casts (10K characters) and up to 4 images per cast for pro subscribers (needs a protocol change). Additional features over time. 4. $120 a year / $10 a month‹ Why are we doing this? - The protocol needs to find long-term revenue source that can continue fund caster and developer rewards beyond any one company. ‹ - We originally thought storage fees could be that, but we’ve realized that storage fees should be essentialy free to help growth.‹ - So we’re trying an opt-in pro subscription as another model Why now? - Figuring out a long-term revenue model that works will allow us to double down on investing in growth
