I lost my streak the other day because my mother in law fell again 10 minutes after I left her and got 7 stitches in her forehead. I missed my time window sitting in the ER 😑 I have to do my claiming/check ins at home because the wifi at the nursing facility (I spend 10-12 hours there a day, 7 days a week for the past 6 1/2 weeks) is so slow it takes an eternity to do all the different tasks I got myself into 🤦🏻♀️ I lost a handful of streaks that day 🤷🏻♀️

They are awful. Got here this morning only to discover fresh injuries on her since I left last night and no one is talking, except her finally. She's been hiding it from me all this time but someone or ones has/have been abusing her at night and she's been to scared to tell. Except this time they made a mistake and didn't self report an "accident" to explain her injuries. I suspect they thought she was so bruised and hurt that no one would be able to tell a fresh injury. That was a fatal mistake for them because I document everything about her and know every inch of her body. Just got done opening a state investigation on the faculty and filing an elder abuse investigation with the police department. I'm not going to just take her out of here and go home. And I'm definitely not going to leave a monster here without at least loudly sounding the alarm first.
